Happy Thanksgiving!  We have much to be thankful for here at the BSC:  A great 2017 summer season with wonderful members and a lot to look forward to in 2018!  

In anticipation of the summer weather ahead (pool opens in only 186 days!) we're offering our annual Blackridge Friday Membership Rates starting...this Friday, and lasting for one full week!

Also, membership rates for 2018 will remain the same as 2017!!

The Blackridge Friday discount this year is:  $25 off every single membership!!!

Membership Information
Please fill out a membership form (online or mailed-in), even if you've been a member for the past 10 years!  We need your most up-to-date information (email, phone, address, ages of kids, etc.) in order to keep you up-to-date as well. 

Some Membership Reminders
Due to oversights the past few years, we realize that some of the following policies have not been consistently applied.  That's not fair to the other members!  So we wanted to clarify these now as we head into Blackridge Friday, and answer any questions you may have before you take advantage of this generous discount!  

Reminder 1:  Senior Memberships
A Senior Membership is defined as a couple in one household, one of whom is 65 or older.  It does not include children or grandchildren.  

Reminder 2:  Membership Requirements for Swim Team
In the past, swim team members have been required to have a Core Membership.  As various other membership levels were introduced, this requirement was not consistently applied.  

Here are the valid memberships for swim team members:  

• First Year Household
• Second Year Household
• Core Household
• Two-Member Household

Reminder 3:  Household Memberships
For the purposes of BSC memberships, members of a household are those family members living in the same house during the duration of the swim season.  In the past the BSC has not asked for proof of this requirement.  This will continue as long as the policy is not abused in any way.  :)

Blackridge Friday:  2017 Edition

We will again be hosting our annual membership sale next weekend.  Big discounts on all memberships for 2018 (even better than "early bird" in the spring).  Remind the grandparents: A BSC family membership is a great gift for the grandkids... Stay tuned for more info early next week! 

Fun Fall Cleanup
A lot of work has been done to get the pool ship-shape for winter.  We just need some help putting the chairs away and doing some raking before the snow comes.  Can you help?  

Join us this Saturday (TOMORROW, November 18) 1-3 pm at the pool.  The more folks, the quicker and more fun it will be!  

Gingerbread House Party
The event that you have all been waiting for is back! Blackridge's annual gingerbread house event will be happening this holiday season! 

You are invited to come build and decorate a gingerbread house on Sunday, December 3 from 3-5, at the BCA! The cost is $7 per house and we provide all the supplies for your decorating needs. Invite all your family and friends. No one wants to miss this event! 

There is also a rumor that we will be having a special guest straight from the North Pole!

Save the Date:  Sunaday, January 28, 2018
The Annual BSC Pasta Dinner is scheduled for the evening of January 28, 2018 at the BCA Clubhouse.  It's a great time to visit with pool and neighborhood friends and remind each other that summer is coming!  We'll also hold our annual meeting where we elect new board members and fill everyone in on pool business.  

The pool is covered for the winter, but there's still a lot going on with the BSC!
