It's Hot Today!

It's a hot one today.  A perfect day to go to the pool!

Hope you had a great time this weekend celebrating the 4th of July.  Aside from being an oasis in the hot July sun, the pool has a lot to offer in the coming weeks.

Ice Cream Man Today
Remember, the ice cream man shows up on Wednesdays (today!) at 2:45pm.  Come cool off in the pool and get a tasty treat.  :)

Swim Lessons Starting next Monday, July 11

• eight 30 minute lessons, starting at either 11:30am or noon
• two weeks, Monday through Thursday, 7/11 - 7/21
• $40/child for members, $80/child for non-members

Fiesta Friday this Friday, July 8th, 8:30pm
Come out for an adult evening of sitting on the deck under the stars. Always a great time with many laughs. BYOB with an appetizer to share. $5.00 per person donation. We start right after swim practice at 8:30. We have plenty of space so feel free to bring a friend or two. Looking forward to catching up with old friends and making new ones. Barracudas Defeat Edgewood Eels
It was a signature win for Blackridge this past Thursday evening at our first home meet.  The Barracudas swam their way to an impressive final score of 126-93.

Our first home meet was a success in other ways as well!  We had excellent food organized by Laura Cecconi, a beautiful national anthem sung by Cecelia and an incredibly smooth meet run by Pete Taylor.

If you've never been to a home meet, come on down.  You might even win the 50/50, just like Tony Schryer did!
