Pool Open for the Summer

Summer is underway!  

The pool opens up today at 4:00 pm and we'll be open daily starting tomorrow from noon - 8pm.  

Monday, June 5 is a big day:  Both swim team and swim lessons begin.  

And don't forget:  Saturday, June 10 is Irish Night at the BCA clubhouse.  See more below!  

Swim Team Starts Monday, June 5
Do you want to become a better swimmer?  Do you want to get to know other families at the pool?  Want your kids to make close "pool friends"?  Join the Blackridge Barracudas!  

Everything you need to know is on the website.  Brigitte Busch, our swim team coordinator, will be at both the morning and evening practices (see below) to collect forms and dues.  
Please note:  Forms need to be complete, including healthcare information!  
Get ready for a great season!  

Practice schedule:  
Evenings (Monday and Wednesday from 7:30-8:30) or...
Mornings (daily, Monday through Friday):

• 8 and under:  9:00-9:30am 
• ages 9-12:  9:30-10:30am 
• 13 and up:  10:30-11:30am.  

Swim Lessons Start Monday, June 5
We'll start the first two-week session of swim lessons on Monday, June 5.  That's a total of eight 30-minute lessons, $40/child for members, and $80/child for non-members. 

Lessons are at 11:30 and noon each day.  Please see Annmarie our pool manager ([email protected]) or just stop by for the first day of lessons if interested!  

Irish Night with Patrick Folan and Jim Lamb
When:  Saturday, June 10 at 7 PM - 10 PM
Where:  BCA Clubhouse

Join us for a wonderful evening of Irish music and fun.  Dust off your dancing shoes for an old time waltz, a country jive, or even a Siege of Ennis! 

Admission price of $10 includes tea, coffee, soft drinks, and baked goods (including scones and Irish brown bread).  Admission for children is $5.  Bring your own beer, wine, and other favorite libations.
