Summer Officially Begins

It's another great week at the BSC!  The pool is crystal clear, the water has warmed up, and summer officially starts tomorrow!

Barracudas Begin Season
The swim team has its first meet today at Park.  On Thursday, we have our first home meet against Bel-Aire.

Once again, we've got a great team that's ready to have fun and compete this summer.  If you're still considering joining the swim team, it's not too late.  All the info is right here.

Note:  The pool will close at 5pm this Thursday for the home meet.  Stick around, grab some great food at the concessions stand, and cheer on our home team!

Salsa Saturday this...Saturday!

• Come out for an adult evening of sitting on the deck under the stars. Always a great time with many laughs.
• Starts at 8pm and goes 'till 11pm
• BYOB with an appetizer to share.
• $5.00 per person donation.
• We have plenty of space so feel free to bring a friend or two. Looking forward to catching up with old friends and making new ones. Any questions fire away or call Kate at 412-708-5444.

Guest Policy
From time to time we'll highlight and review some of our more relevant pool policies.

Today we'll focus on our guest policy.  Summarized from our pool rules:

• Guests must be accompanied by a member and register with the guard upon entering the pool.
• Each guest (over one year old) will be required to register and pay a fee of $5/guest.
• A member may not bring more than six (6) guests at a time without prior approval from the pool manager.

Sometimes we get questions about this guest policy:  
Guests are allowed a maximum of three (3) visits to the pool per summer. 

We are a membership-sustained pool.  We want to allow members to bring their friends, and we want to retain the value of a BSC membership.

Do your friends want to come to the pool all summer?  Suggest they become a member.  :)
