Spring is definitely in the air!

The board has been hard at work and there is a lot going on.  We wanted to share a few things with you.

Early Bird Campaign
It was an amazing success!  We are on track for a very healthy membership level this summer.  

As you may remember, all early bird members were put into a drawing for free car detailing by Tony Schryer.  And, the winner is...Gretchen Milton!  Congratulations and enjoy your soon-to-be detailed vehicle.  :)

New Members Welcome!
Now that it's starting to feel like swimming weather, we're ramping up our efforts to let potential new members know how great the BSC is.

And, we need your help.  If you refer a new member to us, the BSC will give you a summer-long free pass to all events.

Yes, you heard that right:  All events!  That includes all the picnics, Fiesta Fridays, Sundaes on Sunday, Family Nights, and whatever other fun events we have in store for 2016.  Just make sure they note on their membership application that you referred them.  So, invite your friends to have a great summer with you at the BSC, and enjoy the parties on us.

Forest Hills Membership Options
Speaking of new members, we may have a few folks from Forest Hills joining us.  The Forest Hills pool is being repaired this summer.  Due to the uncertain schedule for the repairs, we have offered a prorated monthly membership ($125/month) to Forest Hills residents.

Of course, everyone's always welcome to take advantage of the low new member rate of $299 for the entire summer.

Pool Cleanup This Saturday, 4/30, 9 - noon
Much has already been done to get the pool ready!  This weekend we'll rake the hillside, weed, cut grass, scrape/paint benches, and prep the bathhouse inside and out for painting.

We have an amazing professionally-run, and volunteer-driven pool.  Get to know some of the other wonderful members while making the pool look great for this summer.

Did it really snow this morning?  And yet, the summer swim season is just around the corner.  Good weather is coming soon to a neighborhood near you!

And, that means the pool will open for business (and fun) in no time at all.  In fact, one important date is fast approaching:  April 15!  No, not when your income taxes are due (which, by the way, is April 18 this year thanks to Honest Abe -- google it).  April 15 is the last day to obtain your returning membership at the early bird rate!

That's just one week away.  So get to the website (www.blackridgeswimclub.org) and get the skinny on how to enjoy summer 2016 at the pool.

We're also gearing up for an incredible New Member drive (tell your friends!), prepping for another great swim team season (Go Barracudas!), and lining up the fabulous folks who will be running the show day to day this summer.
