2017 Membership Rates and Blackridge Friday

This past summer was a tremendous year for the Blackridge Swim Club.  We had over 100 members, great weather, and outstanding events.

Feedback from our online survey was overwhelmingly positive.  Some of the highlights included:

• The members were welcoming and made my family feel at home.
• The life guards were the kindest of young adults!
• A great community builder! And a designated lane for swimming those laps!
• Swim Team, Swim meets & participating in swim club events.
• I like that it is a smaller pool and everyone knows everyone else - it is like extended family.

Financially we came up a bit short in 2016.  This was in part due to one-time costs that all hit this summer (electrical supplies and inspection, fixing the pump motor, pool operator training) and other unforeseen expenses.  It's also due to the normal rise in water, sewage, electric, and chemical costs.

We want 2017 to be every bit as successful as 2016.  So, for the first time since 2012, we're finding it necessary to raise membership rates.  See updated rates below:

• First Year:  $299 (back to 2015 level)
• Second Year:  $399
• Core:  $450
• Senior: $250 (now available outside Blackridge)
• Single:  $299 (no change)
• Two Person: $365
• Eve/Weekend:  $365

The good news is that you can still get 2016 Membership Rates for 2017 by participating in Blackridge Friday.

Starting today, you can become a 2017 member at 2016 rates, online or by check.  In some cases, that's a $50 discount on 2017 rates!

This deal will last only through 9:00 pm on Cyber Monday, November 28.  After that the 2017 early-bird $15 discounted rates will take effect.
