Blaze Pizza, Pool Cover, and Irish Night

Grab a pizza for dinner this next Wednesday, May 17 at Blaze in Monroeville.  Not only will it be a tasty meal with all your pool friends, but 20% of the sales will go to the BSC!  So come on down starting at 5pm, enjoy dinner, and hang out with the BSC at Blaze!

Pool Cover Party Success

For the second year in the row, in the rain, almost 30 dedicated members showed up to remove the pool cover.  Then the crew got the pump running and began the cleanup process that will result in pristine water come Memorial Day Weekend.  On Monday we folded up the clean and dry cover and put it in the shed for the summer.  

Thank you to everyone who came out and made it such a success!

There's still more to do in the next couple weeks.  We have gardening, prepping, painting, powerwashing, and some minor repairs.  Please let us know if you can help.  

We have "official" work days scheduled for:
-  Today, Wednesday 5/10, starting at 5 pm
-  Saturday, 5/13 starting at 9 am

If you can come down at these or any other time, just email [email protected] to see if folks will be working.  Chances are they will!

Irish Night with Patrick Folan and Jim Lamb
When:  Saturday, June 10 at 7 PM - 10 PM

Where:  BCA Clubhouse

Join us for a wonderful evening of Irish music and fun.  Dust off your dancing shoes for an old time waltz, a country jive, or even a Siege of Ennis! 

Admission price of $10 includes tea, coffee, soft drinks, and baked goods (including scones and Irish brown bread).  Bring your own beer, wine, and other favorite libations.

Admission for children is $5.

All proceeds benefit the Blackridge Swim Club.
