Family Night, Fall Flea, and Fundraising Update

With just over two weeks left of Summer at the BSC, we're doing our best to pack in as much fun as possible!  

Family Night on Saturday from 8 pm to 10 pm.
-  $10/family (to compensate the guards).
-  Come and swim under the lights!
-  BYO Snacks and have fun.  :)

And that's just the first of our end of summer events:
-  Friday, 8/25:  Teen Night
-  Saturday, 8/26:  Salsa Saturday
-  Saturday, 9/2:  Family Night
-  Sunday, 9/3:  Movie Night
-  Monday, 9/4:  Labor Day Picnic

End of Summer Schedule
We'll be open daily, noon - 8pm all through next week, so you'll get to experience the 80% eclipse at 3:30 on Monday and you won't miss the Ice Cream Man on Wednesday!

August 29 - September 1 we'll move to our "back to school" schedule of 4pm - 8pm followed by the long weekend of noon - 8pm hours through Labor Day.  

BSC Fall Flea, September 23
Don't throw it away!  We want your gently used but otherwise unwanted stuff because someone out there might see it as a treasure.  Do you have old records (yes, the vinyl ones), furniture, gadgets, toys, etc?  We'll take 'em and put them in our Fall Flea on Saturday, September 23.  

Donations will be accepted the week prior to the Flea and help is appreciated.  Any questions ask Kate 412-708-5444.  More details to come!  

Fundraising Update
As already noted, our Syncro Fundraiser raised $1250 that evening, and since then we've received additional donations putting us at $2350!! We're knocking on the door of our $3000 goal, so if you have thought about donating, you can do it online, drop it off at the guard's station, or mail it to P.O. Box 17102, Pittsburgh, PA 15235.  This fundraiser will enable us to be on sound financial footing at season's end.  

With a number of neighborhood pools closing their doors this summer, it's more important than ever that we support OUR neighborhood pool that we love so much!

Just a couple weeks of summer left.  Enjoy them and we'll see you at the pool!
