Pool Cover "Party" and More!

Spring is in full swing, Memorial Day Weekend is four short weeks away, and summer at the BSC is right around the corner.  

With that in mind we have some work session updates for you, a Pool Cover "Party", and an opportunity to help the pool by enjoying dinner at Blaze Pizza in Monroeville...

Upcoming Pool Work Sessions
A LOT has been done recently at the pool.  We've cleared out and cleaned up the hillside and things are really starting to look good.  The next two scheduled work sessions are:

• Sunday, April 30, 1 - 3pm
• Wednesday, May 3, 5 - 8pm

If you are thinking of coming, email grounds@blackridgeswimclub.org.  There's been interest in ordering pizza together, so letting us know you're interested will help us with ordering!  Bring something to drink and enjoy an afternoon/evening working together with your pool friends!  

Note, we will NOT be having an official work session this Saturday.  

Pool Cover Party, Spring 2017
Come and join 20 of your favorite pool friends on Saturday, May 6, to get the pool cover off the pool.  We need to get the pump up and running to make sure the water is crystal clear before Memorial Day weekend.  

We'll need at least 20 folks for about 30 minutes to help remove the cover at 9:30 am.  This will happen rain or shine!

This is the one cleanup activity that absolutely requires numbers, so if you can be there, please do!  Last year we had 30 amazing folks remove the cover in a downpour -- incredible and necessary!  We're hoping for better weather this year.  :)

More info coming soon, but plan on having dinner at Blaze Pizza in Monroeville on Wednesday May 17.  A percentage of your dinner price will go to the pool, and you will get to enjoy some great, custom, wood-fired pizza with your pool pals.
