Strawberry Festival and the Barracudas

We had a great night at Blaze Pizza last night -- thanks for coming by!  And a special thanks to Kate Hanna for coordinating and spending her evening at Blaze.  :)

It's hard to believe, but we're just over a week away from the pool opening.  Lifeguards are getting ready, the grounds are shaping up, the pool is already clear, and we've already got some summer weather.  Here's the latest in Pool News.  

Strawberry Festival

All pool  members also join the BCA, so this is of interest to you!  Plus, it's a chance to see the great things the BCA is doing, enjoy some strawberry-themed treats, and get info on all things 
Blackridge (including the pool).  

The BCA board will present our financial status and vote in our 2017-2018 board. All members in good standing are eligible to vote. The proposed board members can be viewed here and proxy ballots are available here for any members unable to attend.

The Blackridge Barracudas
The Barracudas Swim team offers a supportive environment to swimmers of all abilities.   Emphasis is on developing good sportsmanship, teamwork, expanding each swimmer’s experience, and having fun.  Led by returning coaches Maria Taylor and Julianne Liberatti, our team is encouraging, fun, and a great place to make summer friends at the pool.  Under their leadership, our team has grown larger and had more success than ever before!  

If you'd like to check it out, come to the first practice on Monday, June 5.  Meet the coaches, take a swim, and learn what our team is all about.  There are morning and evening practices to accommodate diverse schedules.
