Wrapping Up Summer at the BSC

Labor Day weekend is almost here.  Enjoy these last days of summer at the pool!  We're trying to pack in as much fun as we can.  :)

Family Swim this Saturday 8 - 10 pm
... maybe a bit longer.
$10 a family and bring a snack to share!  
Swim under the lights one last time.

Labor Day Picnic 4 - 8 pm

• Food is served at 4pm!
• $10 a family with a side to share
• We will supply everything else (hot dogs, hamburgers, buns, etc.)
• We'll be looking for many hands to help!  :)
• Bring a friend and show them how great the BSC is and encourage them to join next year.

Night at the Races is Almost Here -- Name Your Horse Today!
Saturday September 10th - Doors open at 5:00pm for dinner, Racing starts at 6:30 sharp!

Labor Day is the Last Day...

• Horses must be named and paid for by Labor Day to appear in the program.
• $15 tickets will increase to $20 per person after Labor Day.
• Scratch off Lottery tickets (or financial donations) should be turned in so the board can built.
• Chinese Auction Basket donations should be turned in by Labor Day so Cathy and MJ can build the baskets and they can be listed in the program.

The good news for you is Dirk will be at the pool in the afternoon on Labor Day to take ticket and horse orders and payments.  (The bad news for him is that he will be up till the wee hours of the morning entering all the last minute information into the program...)

If you can get your orders in before Labor Day (send them to [email protected]) and just have to turn in money, it will make his life a little bit easier.  ;-)

In summary, this weekend make sure you:
-  Get your tickets by Labor Day for the discount.
-  Donate lottery tickets for the lottery board.
-  Sponsor and name a horse of your choice.

We've sent out a survey to all the members for whom we have email addresses.

If you did not get one for some reason, email [email protected] and we'll get it out to you!  It takes about two minutes, and we really appreciate the feedback.  We want the BSC to be even better for you next year!

Pool Cover "Party" -- 6pm Tuesday, September 6
We'll need at least 20 folks to help install the cover that protects our pool over the winter.  20 minutes to get it done.  Many hands make light work.  Email [email protected] if you can help!
