WTAE Highlights the BSC

Great pool weather this week!  So much so that WTAE did a story highlighting our very own Blackridge Swim Club!

It aired last night at 6pm and featured our role in helping Forest Hills residents have a great place to swim this summer.

Reminder for today, Wednesday, July 13:

• Ice Cream Man at 2:45pm!
• Extra lap lane 6:30 to 7:30pm tonight (and every Monday and Wednesday)

Coming up this Friday, 7/15:  Teen Night!

• Starts at 8 pm, goes 'til 10 pm
• $5.00 a head.
• Bring a friend and a towel.
• We will take care of snacks and drinks.
• Open to 11 and up.
• Our last one was great!

Night at the Races 2016
July 4th has come and gone and it is now Night at the Races season for the BCA.  The doors open September 10th at 5:00 and racing starts promptly at 6:30. Tickets are $15 (Lasagna Rolls and NC BBQ Pork sandwiches will be on the buffet).

Horses are still a $10 donation to the BCA - name your horse and if your horse wins, you win $25!

• Winner need not be present to win so even if you cannot make it to the races, you can still support the BCA/BSC by buying a horse!
• The first 2016 horse purchase goes to Pete Taylor.  His horse name is... [Top Secret] (Sorry, you’ll have to wait for September 10th to find out...)

We have received checks from two race sponsors already! A big Thank You goes out to Congressman Mike Doyle and our own Pete Taylor Attorney at Law.
